NOAA GMD
This mini-site is an exercise to learn Bootstrap, javascript, Google Charts. I have used the NOAA ESRL Solar Calculator JavaScript libraries in my calculations only to learn more about the Jean Meeus astronomical calculations. They have solved an interesting challenge for writing JavaScript and smashing together the various tools mentioned above.
I am taking advantage of the NOAA GMD public service mission and I do NOT recommend this as an alternative to a commercial product.
TRY IT BUT DON'T RELY ON IT.
It may not be suitable for the reliability and accuracy you require for navigation, timekeeping, etc.
I didn't write the calculations, I can not claim thank as my own, so I won't ask any usage fees
I am not affiliated in any way with NOAA, my only association is as a US citizen
the calculations and the presentation are my own usage of other people's work
